
Keys to Discovery began in the summer of 2026 as a faith-driven response to a simple but challenging question that inspired a step of faith. After prayer, the vision became a summer enrichment program designed to give children a safe, nurturing place to learn, discover, grow, and build confidence.
The inaugural summer program served children ages 5-12, combining reading, mathematics, science, STEM actiities, Bible study, outdoor experiences, social development, and enrichment opportunities. Rather than functioning simply as summer childcare, Keys to Discovery was created to help children recognize their abilities, strengthen academic skills, develop socially, and discover their God-given potential.
The first summer included hands-on learning, guest speakers, special activity days, fishing at the park, and a closing pool celebration. As the weeks progressed, KTD became more than a summer program, it bcame a community where relationships were formed with children and families and where individual academic and developmental needs became more visible.
The success of the first summer led to the vision for Phase II: After-school academic support and tutoring, with particular attention to children needing additional help in areas such as reading and math. The larger vision continues to expand toward year-round enducational enrichment, individualized intervention, family support, and opportunities for children with varying learning and communication needs.

Keys to Discovery was born through faith, built through service, and continues with a commitment to unlocking the academic, social, and God-given potential within every child.
At its heart, Keys to Discovery exists to help unlock what is already inside every child - their ability to leard, their confidence to try, their curiosity to discover, and their potential to become lifelong learners and responsible citizens.
